Description
Building a strong, consistent foundation grounded in brain science is essential to supporting our students and helping them meet their goals. However, there are many challenges to fully implementing the comprehensive supports needed to address the growing concerns around student mental health. This workshop will explore the why and how of prioritizing universal supports (layer 1) such as social emotional learning, trauma responsive practices and restorative practices. Deepening these foundational supports will create a strong platform for all students to experience success and reach their goals.
